Pdfpages is to pdf what psutils is to postscript. Pdfjam is a package written utilising pdfpages which makes things a bit easier. !web links and authors!

Pdfjam consist of three commands pdfnup, pdfjoin and pdf90. By outputting a new file for each page of a scribus document it is possible to create almost any sort of imposition using the above commands. When I have time I will give further examples but briefly join individual pdfs together in the order you want (pdfjoin, see other article for a more detailed explanation of this), rotate the documents if required and then use pdfnup to put multiple pages onto a single sheet. With any of the above --help brings up the help menu.
