If you are unsure, how to add new table rows, just describe your font here, and others will hopefully do the rest for you.

Anybody is also invited to discuss any font issues here.

TODO list

  • add a new column "Best for" or "Main purpose" (e.g. leaflets, books, etc.)
  • remove the "Known issues" column (useless, since the table should contain only good fonts) (I disagree - documenting bad fonts is very important. It may be better done in a separate section though -- ringerc)
  • add a new code with font sample: a small gif with a few letters
  • add as first column "Font name"
  • order the entries alphabetically
  • add the fonts delivered with Acroread 7
  • merge "Professional Printing", "Bubblejet Printing" and "Web/Presentations" into one column (to save horizonal space)
  • extend the introdunction, minding users to add only _good_ fonts (no useless junk needed)
