The Scribus Team is pleased to announce the release of Scribus 1.4.7.

Scribus 1.4.7 is almost exclusively a bugfixing and update release, including some corrections backported from the development candidate 1.5.x, whose next iteration 1.5.3 is supposed to be released soon after 1.4.7 with some exciting new features.

Most Important Changes

  • An import issue with SVG files that froze Scribus has been fixed.
  • Scribus now discards incorrectly embedded ICC profiles in broken JPEG files.
  • Documentation updates.
  • A new template from a POD service has been added.
