Scribus 1.1 could wrap text around an image or a frame. This is a very common style tool. I can find no way to do this with Scribus 1.2.  I would like to see how Scribus could reproduce the page shown in the textwrap3 image.

Answer: Properties pallette, Shape->Text flows around frame. It's not the default anymore because more often than not it's not the preferred behaviour, but it is definitely still available.
