Maybe instead of deleting this page we **redirect** it to something like [[Footnotes#Scribus_1.2]] and which will point to a subheader "Scribus 1.2" section on [[Footnotes]] (assuming footnotes were introduced in 1.2?) Either way, does that make sense?

Footnotes do exist in Scribus. Do we nix this page but perhaps keep the old mention of how to import ?

There is, however, an easy workaround for the problem.
Write your text in OO.o/StarOffice and save your file as HTML.
Then import the HTML file into scribus.
All text is preserved, including foot-/endnotes, which are placed at the end of the text.

Maybe instead of deleting this page we **redirect** it to something like Footnotes#Scribus_1.2 and which will point to a subheader "Scribus 1.2" section on Footnotes (assuming footnotes were introduced in 1.2?) Is this a Scribus 1.2 strategy? Should it have it's own section in Footnotes ? See [1]
