There is now a project in works to allow the use of the Abiword word processor as a GetText import filter in the 1.3.5 build. This includes formats such as Word, WordPerfect, RTF, HTML, and Docbook. The current matrix is available at the Abiword site.

Please note this is a work in progress and purely imports the text contents of the file at this time. Abiword is required.
