IRC also known as Internet Relay Chat is one of the ways Scribus users, developers and other Community members can communicate with each other. A FreeNode.net channel #scribus is a vibrant community hall almost 24 hours a day though most of the activity usually happens in the evening hours of European time zones. To connect to #scribus you will either need client software or register as a Scribus wiki user and use our Web IRC Interface. If you are looking for a suitable client you can check our a comprehensive comparison or start with one of the most popular clients such as XChat or mIRC on windows or use your package manager to install XChat or Konversation or any other client on Linux.
