Quark 5 shortcuts are listed in [http://www.quark.com/service/desktop/cust_service/pdf/Win5KeyShort.pdf this pdf]. Anyone fancy hacking them out or retyping them all? :-) | Quark 5 shortcuts are listed in [http://www.quark.com/service/desktop/cust_service/pdf/Win5KeyShort.pdf this pdf]. 1.2.1 has user-editable keyboard shortcuts. Cbradney tells me 1.3 will have the ability to load and save custom shortcut sets in xml files, so if someone's used to eg. Quark they can just load the Quark shortcut set. Hopefully this should mitigate the initial disorientation involved in switching to a new DTP prog.
I've put a couple of shortcuts xml files here to start the bowl rolling.
- The default Scribus shortcuts should probably be included in the other keysets unless those shortcuts are assigned to something else
- Real world testing in 1.3 to see what I've messed up
- Identify important functions for which it's not currently possible to assign shortcuts in Scribus, eg. Edit text, Zoom in / out
- More shortcut sets, eg. Indesign, MS Publisher, Serif PagePlus, Gimp, Inkscape (Actually I think Scribus should probably aim to have common shortcuts with Gimp / Inkscape as a default - setting the defaults to be as usable as possible is a separate matter from the loadable key set thing. It might still be useful to have a unified list of shortcuts used by various apps).

How about user-definable mouse shortcuts, eg. triple-click text selects paragraph like in Word for example?
- Cbradney tells me this is difficult / unlikely, but the 1.3 roadmap includes work on mouse text selection
